For about half a year, the streetscape in the Kralingen district of Rotterdam was determined by a long pipeline that was for a large part mounted on stands. Waste water was pumped through it without a problem, with a maximum flow rate of 2.000 m3/hour.
This project presented numerous challenges. There was a short realization time just around the summer holiday period, we had little room to work with due to a pump location in the inner city, and for a large part, the specially painted pipeline had to be placed a couple of meters above the ground. On top of that, we had to construct a pipe bridge with a span of 35 meter. All in all, not an easy task.
At the end of this project, we are pleased that the bypass has been successful and that we can look back on a good cooperation with our client M.J. Oomen.
